Working as a court employee with the State of New Hampshire comes with a wide range of benefits.

Medical Benefits

There are two medical plans available to choose from:

All regular, full-time employees are eligible for health benefits the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Part time employees, who work a minimum of 30 hours, are eligible for health benefits at a pro-rated cost.

Monthly Health Insurance Premium Cost:

  • $20.00 per pay period if annual salary is less than $53,140.
  • $40.00 per pay period if annual salary is $53,140 up to $64,260.
  • $60.00 per pay period if annual salary is more than $64,260.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is provided to full-time employees by Northeast Delta Dental on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time employees, who work a minimum of 30 hours, are also eligible for dental benefits at a prorated cost.

Monthly Dental Insurance Premium Cost:

  • $2.00 per pay period if annual salary is less than $53,140.
  • $4.00 per pay period if annual salary is $53,140 up to $64,260.
  • $6.00 per pay period if annual salary is more than $64,260.

Life Insurance

All regular, full-time employees are eligible for life insurance through VOYA. Employees automatically get $50,000 in coverage at no cost to the employee. Multiple plans are available through voluntary election: Additional Life Insurance, AD&D – Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Coverage available for spouse and children is also available (15 days old to 26yrs).

Prescription Coverage

Express Scripts will provide you with access to a large national retail pharmacy network and mail order home delivery service. They have 274 retail pharmacies in The State of NH (CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart, supermarket pharmacies and local independent pharmacies). 

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

All full-time permanent State employees are eligible for to set aside money through pre-tax payroll deduction to help pay for eligible health care and/or dependent child care expenses. Some part-time employees may also be eligible for FSA benefits.

Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness

Some judicial branch positions may be eligible for public service forgiveness loans.
